WEST HAM UNITED SUMMER SOCCER SCHOOL CAMP

WEST HAM UNITED SUMMER SOCCER SCHOOL CAMP

Many young Hammers will be looking forward to the summer school holidays and with this in mind the West Ham United Community Sports Trust are hosting a selection of exciting football courses to suit children of all abilities between three and 15 years old.

WEST HAM UNITED SUMMER SOCCER SCHOOL CAMP

All morning sessions consist of warm-up drills, with and without a ball, with examples of SAQ (Speed, Agility and Quickness) drills and pre-match stretching techniques.

Sessions progress onto ball manipulation and first-touch drills, followed by training games with emphasis on the three A's - agility, acceleration and awareness. All these outcomes are achieved through passing receiving exercises, individual attacking and defending exercises, goalscoring and finishing drills and group combination play.

Afternoon sessions will be an opportunity for each individual to implement skills learnt from morning sessions into practice. All participants will take part in various matches and tournaments during the afternoons with the West Ham United coaches looking to improve game related awareness and natural ability.

All sessions are tailored to develop each individual's natural ability, awareness and decision making.

Five-day player development courses will be available at a variety of locations across east London and Essex at just £65 per child with every participant receiving a West Ham United Goodie Bag, medal, certificate and much more.
