Write about your football history : I began to play football at 9 years old. I played for a number of teams in a number of positions. My two best positions are center back and defensive midfield. I currently am the captain of Defence Force reserve team and I play defensive midfield. However, at previous teams I played Right back, Right wing and Center Forward. These were in my younger days of playing football as I matured coaches groomed me into playing Defensive Midfield and Center Back. I won a number of titles with each team I played for. Various coaches gave me different roles whether it was to be a man marker,create a play or be a leader and support my teammates. I play in the top league with St. Anthonys College which over the years is seen to be the best college team in Trinidad and Tobago. I played for the Championship Team for 3 years and won a total of 8 trophies out of a possible 12. I also won most improved player 2012/2013 and most disciplined player in 2013/2014.
Write about your Playing Ability : I am a tall composed player about 6'3. Great at intercepting passes,also making a pass, heading and tackling. I have a good passing range and can make big diagonal passes to switch the play. I am also aggressive, break up opposition attacks and can make hard tackles.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial : All my life I have been wanting the opportunity to showcase my ability. I honestly believe that I can make it as a professional footballer. No matter what i will always continue working hard for any chance of playing for any professional team.
