    Youngsters Enjoy Football Debut's



    Spanish Football Club Benejuzar invited Tony's Soccer School, Mil Palmeras team to a fiesta of Football matches on Easter Weekend. We took up the challenge to see how our younger players would fair against older aged group players, despite a number of players away on Holiday. A very productive and enjoyable day was had by all despite the results going against us, see no less than 10 players make there debuts for our football Club.     Debuts for Harry, Lacy Bradley and Orlando Breeze see a very good enjoyable game, but Mil Palmeras were 1-0 behind at the break but David Milton & Paolo Webb lead the team well. With a 50/50 mix of boys and Girls, see Niomi Sheffield and Taylor Hirst enjoy a spell in goal. Benejuzar were the stronger more experienced team, but a great game was enjoyed by all the proud parents. Manger Tim Breeze added ' A large squad will see a great young team that will flourish with time'.

    More Debuts for Ryan Hughes, Joshua Greenaway & Alfie Johnson see an open game full of chances for both sides. Mil Palmeras deserved more goals but Benejuzar were a solid all round team. Without Mathi & Thibo Londoz organising the defence, the result may have been higher, Captains William Clayton alongside Alfred Emmett deserved more goals in this game. Alfie Johnson was rewarded with his hard work with a penalty which he converted. Manager Gary Johnson said 'A good pleasing performance, see a large squad enjoy an fantastic day well done.

     

    Benejuzar Benjamin's (2001/02) 4 v 1 Mil Palmeras, Benjamin's (2002/03/04)

    Debutant Sean Scullion, played his part, alongside Captain Luke Naylor, although a large squad, meant for everyone getting a good game. Mil Palmeras were the better side in the first half but couldn't convert there chances and went 1-0 behind, however Ben Naylor broke away to make it level at the Break. The second half was won by a team taking its chances, Oliver Godden played extremely well, and could of scored late on. Zach Hipperson was everywhere, Harvey Trotter and Joe Justice shared the goalkeeping and played very well. Bailey Tomlinson & Luca Webbs movement shows them come of age and put in a team performance. Manager Martin Said 'We lived with them in the first half and with a bit more effort may have come out winners, Well Done our Little Lions, roooaaar'.

    A team brimming with players see an Alevin Debuts for Joshua Bratty, see a good solid performance from an improving goalkeeper. Missing a number of players through holiday Mil Palmeras took time to get out of the blocks and see themselves 4-0 down early on. Charlie Hawes played well and finished of his second chance in the game, which meant Mil Palmeras went in 4-1 at the break. Connor Hirst and Callum Karr should take credit for there performances, playing against older children and showed how well there knowledge of Alevins is progressing. Goal of the game went to Lewis Long who collected the ball in his own half and took on 4 players to finish of the best goal of the game. Alex Morse played well out field, and Aidan Lech's improvement in Midfield was superb, Manager Scott Bradley.

    Debuts for Alfie Hawes, sees him finish the game with 2 great goals one coming in from the left and the other with a 30 yard shot from the right making it a good game for him. Deputising for the Infantil's, Sam Halliday, Kai Pickford, Karim Ferouli, Almantas Sukis, and Jake Scott made for a very productive match and seeing all these Alevin's playing above there age was an absolute Joy, although the result went against them they can be proud of there achievements, Manager Tony Pickford.
