VEGA BAJA LEAGUE   

     12 years ago, we met with the intention of seeing the way that children who for one reason or another, could not participate in the federal competition, have also their participation in a competition.The initial idea of two leaders coordination of grassroots football in the area of Vega Baja.The idea was launched in summer 1998, was drawn a link between the Municipal Schools Football, Dolores, Catral, Rojales and racer.In this competition, involving all children, ages 7 and 10 years for various reasons, all foreign to them, could not participate in the competition that regulated the Football Federation of the Valencian Community.Such was the acceptance by of children and especially parents, who the following year were adding new Municipal Schools.In these early years, the 4 officials who initiated this idea, were those who were working to take the next step and consolidate every day, this competition.

     In the last decade, the competition has grown in number of participants, to the extent that currently participate in this competition, all Municipal Schools Football Vega Baja area, except for a municipality.In this decade we shifted from one category to be 6, the number of children who have participated has increased from 30-40 to about 1800 or so.This is a sign of acceptance was that year after year having this event.As years passed and was increasing the number of participants, it was proposed to name this competition going to be called VEGA BAJA FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION.Currently the competition and are fully consolidated, even though the road traveled to this, has not been rosy.It has not had many flavors, but everything has been overcome by the spirit, hard work and dedication has been taken by proponents of the idea and heads of schools have been adding.

     Today, the spirit of this competition, remains the starting, give the possibility to compete, THOSE CHILDREN ONE OR OTHERWISE, CAN NOT COMPETE IN THE LEAGUE REGULAR FOOTBALL FEDERATION OF VALENCIA.This is what keeps us working to improve and facilitate day to day, the integration of all these children.To say that we are open to anyone who wants to participate with us, always respecting the SPIRIT of our competition.
