Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started playing competitive football at the age of 13 as i had not the chance to play for a team as my parents were busy with work etc. During that time, I trained for a team older than me which was called Woodsetton Wolves. With the team, I played a few games before i picked up an ankle injury which prevented me from carrying on. I received physio during my injury and at the start of the next season i joint Dudley Sports FC. The team got promoted in the first season at the club as they won the Stourbridge Division 3 Under 14s. I finished that season with 7 goals playing as a striker. The next season was promising as I the team finished 2nd in Division 2 and I finished the season with 12 goals in which the manager and my parents were very supportive and proud. I also received a couple of awards which included silver boots. After the season at Dudley Sports, I joint a mid-week team called Tipton Town after the first 3 games in which I achieved 3 goals, I decided it wasn't for me as I had to travel quite far to get to training (1Hour30Mins) on average. So i decided to join Gornal Athletics FC in which i manged on 3 goals in the last weeks of the season.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I play as a striker as a main role but I consider myself okay as a winger. I am the sort of player who can hold up the ball to bring my teammates into the attacking position. I also love using my pace, skill moves and strength against opponents. I also consider myself as a team player on and off the pitch and also a friendly person. I do not like confrontations with my team mates as I believe that will affect the way we play in a match. In addition, I believe that football should not only be about the money or the fame but also the passion and love for the sport. I think that is all I have to say.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I have played football since I was eight years of age however; I played it just for fun and didn’t consider playing the sport in a competitive environment. But it was I came to England in 2007 which I realized I had a talent which was football. It is my passion to play football for fun and as a profession will be my dream. I am not the best or the quickest or the strongest but I believe that I contribute and bring a different and positive style of play in a football team. I play as a striker as a main role but I consider myself okay as a winger. I know it is not a lot but I feel it is enough for the academy to consider my application. Finally, I only ask for one chance to show my ability and to show what sort of player I am. Finally I would like to say thanks for your time and hope to hear from the club soon. Yours Sincerely, Arnold
