Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I have been a goalkeeper my whole life, and have been invited to play for many amateur clubs. In 2011 I helped my team to the league and cup double and then retired to focus on work. however this is my life passion and I would relish a career in football. I have played for three clubs although the most serious club was my last team Barnes Eagles. before I played for Hanwell Town, Westway and spent two years training with AGV. I regularly play football with friends in my area who play for acedemies and they tell me I am good enough. I retired so to speak last season due to need of money for my family and myself, however now I am ready to fight tooth and nail to fulfil my dream of becoming a professional footballer.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : As a goalkeeper my best attributes are communication, positioning and reflexes. I have always had the ability of positioning and reflexes but was a shy child and the communication excelled as I grew as a player and as a confident person. My biggest and in my opinion only weakness was my floor kicking. Releasing the ball from a drop kick or throw is very accurate however from the floor was to be desired. however I have spent this entire year practising solely ground kicking and now I feel my only weakness is not having an opportunity to showclass my ability and skillset to scouts.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I have been a servant to football my whole life and feel I can really stand out from the others to you if given an opportunity. I understand that it will not be easy however I am a determined worker who strives for perfection, and am a nice person to talk to and work with. I do hope I can get the opportunity to show my abilities and would relish the oppurtunity of a trial with other talented footballers.
