Tell us about your football history in 100 words: I have played for Fakenham and Sheringham in the Norwich Youth League, during this time I was also selected to attend Norwich PDC. At the age of 13 I attended further trails for Norwich PDC and for Persona Best Soccer(PBS). I was selected for both but opted to play for PDC. PDC is a soccer academy where professional coaching is given to help develop and progress to a professional football club trials. PDC play matches against other academies and enter tournaments such as “The Welsh Super Cup” which we successfully won in 2014. See Twitter @PBS2008
Tell us about your Playing ability in 100 Words: I started life as a central defender but as the years have gone by I, mainly due to fast pace(100 meters 12.8secs May 2014) I have progressed to right midfield and centre forward. Through excellent coaching during my youth and my continued development, I have learnt to combine intelligence, skill and pace on the football pitch in order to enhance my game to the benefit of the team. Knowing when to take on a player, make a pass or take a shot is an important part to my game of which I have harnessed throughout my youth.
Why should an Academy Manager give you a football trial in 100 words: I feel I have a lot to offer, as already mentioned, my game has continued to improve during my youth. I would like the opportunity to trail in order to make the assessment of whether professional clubs believe I have what it takes to make it at this level. Such an assessment would give me realistic goals to my life where I can then channel my efforts to either follow my dream of becoming a professional footballer or follow other career paths.
