Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I was introduced to football at the age of 5 by my parents. From there I started to play on a very regular basis and excelled in my division where ever I went. At the age of 13 I made my first team appearance for Kingsway and went on to score a hat-trick and ended of the season with a tally of 14 goals and winning the award for most promising young player. A year later I moved to Scottburgh when I made a first team appearance after my first practice and ended of the season with 10 goals and the award for player of the season. The following year I remained at Scottburgh and we where lucky enough to be placed into a tournament as a wildcard team. This was the season that I was chosen as the team captain. We ended the tournament coming in as runners up, and with me getting the top scorers award as well as player of the tournament. The next season I joined Park Rynie Spurs but after 2 practices I had to pull out for the rest of the season with a broken tibia. Upon my return I joined UKZN Westville and was immediately placed in the starting 11 as I was told I have superb skill combined with pace and of which is not easy to come by. Having stayed at UKZN Westville I became a regular starting player and was pointed out as the key player in all our wins. As off now, I am currently still at UKZN Westville.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I have been told that I have a knack for picking out players and playing through balls through the most difficult of positions and mostly resulting in goals. I also have great control with the ball enabling me to be one of the best dribblers and players of skill on the field. I am a very tall player, standing at a height of 1.90m making me a very aggressive player when I comes to winning headers. I have great vision in picking out my teammates and my crossing is of one of the best standards. ultimately I am also blessed with the ability to dribble at my top speed, as I am also one of the quickest players on the field. Also when I comes to defending I am one player who can be relied on to be at the right place to make crucial tackles. I am also one of the best strikers of the ball and almost always hitting the target. To sum up my player ability I would say that I am truly gifted with getting out of difficult situations and putting the teams needs first.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I have been told by all my coaches and many outsiders that I have the potential to make it as a professional footballer if given the opportunity. I also believe that I should get the opportunity as I have played my heart out and given my all to football and I know that this is what I want in my life, I feel that I a worthy enough to be given a fair chance to showcase my talent that so many have told me I have been gifted with. Lastly I would like to say that if you give me this opportunity it would be one that you would never regret, I will give you everything you expect of me and 100% more. This is my dream and I would really like to pursue it, so all that I am asking for is a chance to prove that I belong in the football world, and I guarantee you that you wont be disappointed.
