Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I started my football career at age 9 in my primary school where I was selected to represent the school in primary three, I was the youngest player on the team and the following year I won an award for sporting excellence from MILO. When I was in primary five I was made team captain and lead my team in the inter primary school cup organised by the state for private schools (the name of the school is S.O.S herman gmiener primary school at Isolo Lagos nigeria). When I graduated to secondary school I was also selected to represent my schools soccer team while I was still playing for a local club side. At age 17 I was admitted into the university of Lagos Nigeria where I currently play for the university team. I was chosen by the head coach during our inter faculty cup where I featured as the only freshman on the team list, my team went on to come second and I was called into the university team by the head coach. I am currently playing for both my university team and my local club side (YDHRI).
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : I am a natural winger as many coaches have told me throughout my career mainly because of my speed, many coaches have really commended my ability to beat defenders and opponents with my speed and my ability to really open up the game. I also have a great dribbling ability, this is another factor that makes coaches call me a natural winger, I easily beat defenders one on one and even more, I have enough confidence to take players on and create real chances. I have over the years been commended for my crosses through balls (both on the ground and in the air). I have excellent ball control passing and vision for passing. Finally I have the ability to read the play and know exactly where, when and how to move to open up the defence and create chances for myself.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I am a Nigerian young soccer play with a lot of talent bt no real platform to showcase my talent, most of the platforms here in Nigeria are scams in most cases and not realistic. I have been chosen and commended by a host of coaches here in Nigeria but I haven't seen any head way to lime light here. More to this is the fact that my university where I have gotten closest to my dream has been on a national university strike for over 3 months now. I believe that I have the ability to be a great and excellent soccer player if I had an actual chance to prove myself.
