Tell us about your football history (Min 100 words) : I used to play for Ian Stores academy (Bexhill), won the league with Bexhill youth and 2 tournaments in little common and sedlescombe. Moved to Hastings rangers, played 2 cup finals winning both consecutively, I also played for Southern association football academy, receiving throughout nearly 30 awards during my current and past football career.
Write about your Playing Ability (Min 50 words) : My main attributes to the game would be composure and strength as I am fairly tall and have a stocky build, I can last 90 minutes without generally tiring depending on the work rate of the game. My passing ability I believe is excellent, whilst having a variety of passing techniques under my belt, to support this would be my tackling ability, 9/10 I would win the ball. My mental side of the game is good, as I am always involved, positional, verbal and tactical. I feel that I am a good leader as I can motivate my team mates, and bring them and their confidence up into the game. My accuracy rate is good, containing skills of shooting, passing, crossing and set piece play, I am able to beat players on the ball. My main weakness would be my overall speed, I am quick to the ball over a short to medium distance however I struggle over a fairly long length of pitch, I feel this is due to my build and structure.
Why should an Academy Director give you a trial (Min 50 words) : I feel I am a team player and I will always support my fellow colleagues through out, pushing myself to the limit and constantly giving 100% into my performance, I am well disciplined and follow any instruction given to me by my manager or coach whether in the game or not. I am trustworthy and loyal to who I am playing for and I show this by representing myself with a good reputation, and not to destroy the club reputation. I do not shy from any challenge upon me, and I thrive off the pressure from any up and coming fixture, I feel I have the ability to venture on with my career as a footballer, because I have been told that I have the capability and the desire to make it further by an ex-pro (Ian stores)! I learn from my mistakes quickly, which allows me to progress my skills and abilities, and I learn quickly and take any advice on board whether I feel this is the right thing for my game, and I take constructive criticism on the chin and try my up most to improve.
