    Manchester United Soccer Schools Free Foundation delivers an extensive schools football programme which is completely free of charge to local schools in the area. Here you can see the rich history this Academy has.
    Manchester United offer opportunities in line with the national curriculum, working with each school for a half term duration. The service is open to primary schools, secondary schools and schools that cater for special educational needs. Our service includes teacher training and resources to ensure that the Foundation has a lasting impact on school sport.

    Primary Schools & Secondary Schools

    Before we tell you about the primary and secondary schools and what the service includes you can visit everything to do with MANCHESTER UNITED TRIALS:

    • morning or afternoon sessions with the teacher in attendance offering opportunities for ongoing professional development.
    • a 2 hour programme each week for a half-term duration
    • contribution to the delivery of the national curriculum
    • technical and tactical sessions
    • certification and celebration of achievements

    Secondary Manchester Schools

    MANCHESTER UNITED FC ACADEMY

    We offer further opportunities for secondary school pupils in addition to the services above. Our secondary school programme is about delivering high quality football tuition and inspiring young people to achieve their goals.

    GCSE PE Manchester United Foundation coaches will deliver the football module within the GCSE programme, highlighting the individual development of the players and introducing the fundamental principles of coaching.

    FA Junior Football Organisers Course (Curriculum time PE)
    We will guide pupils through the FA Junior Football Organisers Award. This Manchester United training scheme offers young people aged 14-18 years their first experience of leading sessions for children and can be the stepping stone to a coaching or refereeing course.

    Teacher Training and Resources in Manchester
    This  scheme Man Utd Foundation provide the opportunity for staff from our partner schools to participate in teacher training contributing to their professional development as independent learners or as part of the school’s training programme. The Foundation provides all schools that it works with as part of the programme with a comprehensive Resource Pack for Teachers free of charge. The pack has been designed to meet National Curriculum criteria, providing a balanced activity schedule which covers all elements of the game of football.

    FREE FREE FREE We provide a Resource Pack for Teachers is also available for schools outside of the Manchester, Trafford and Salford area to purchase for £50.
