    Bristol City FC Academy saw a record number of Academy players in our First Team squad in 2015/16 and we are now building our structure for future and continued success.

    Our First Team are  a Championship side with big ambitions and a home for a Premier League team t o be proud of :

    Ashton Gate–a £46 million stadium, which has become a 27,000 capacity modern, multi-use stadium.

    We now require an outstanding U23 Manager to take a lead role in our team. Your Main Responsibilities:

    • To manage the U23 squad, with a focus on Individual player development

    • To plan and deliver the coaching and fixture programme for the U23 squad

    • To design, deliver and evaluate individual/unit specific practices for players

    • To conduct 6 weekly multi disciplinary player reviews

    • To evaluate players from coaching sessions and matches

    • To carry out player/parent reviews in line with EPPP guidelines

    • To contributeto all LFE education requirements

    • To support the players transition from U18-U23

    •To contribute to the Talent Identification process, including assessment of trialists

    • To ensure players ’welfare and safeguarding is protected at all times You will have/be:

    • Extensive experience of developing players within the Professional Phase in an Academy environment

    • An understanding of the requirements to play professional football at all levels

    • Have empathy, be supportive in developing others and possess an open mindset

    • UEFA ‘A’ License

    • FA Advanced Youth Award

    • An ability to communicate honestly and clearly

    Desirable skills:

    •UEFA Pro Licence

    • Further education in a related subject
