Meeting and playing football with the worlds best players such as Real Madrid's Kaka, Man Utd' sNani and Arsenal's Robin Van Persie in London was such a thrill.
Also coming from Spain we was even able to ask Kaka in spanish, if he is staying at Real Madrid, of which he said he is happy in Spain, so read into that what you wish.
The Club received a signed Nani Man United shirt which will be raffled off at the Club presentation, also you can see the new Predator Boots at Adidas.com.
Mil Palmeras 6 v 0 Dolores. Cup Semi Finals Awaits.
Team Sponsor The Abbey Tavern.
Semi Finals here we come. This weeks win assured Mil Palmeras a Semi Final place, and what a way to sign off the league season, with an emphatic win. Dolores seemed stronger than the first time round, and it was Ben Naylor to score his 53rd goal of the season with another hatrick.
Tiandra Anderson was so strong in midfield and Henry Long was assured at the back. Alfred Emmett continiues his fantastic goalscoring form with 2 fine goals, and to round off David Milton stamm playing above his age to grab another goal. This week sees another Mil Palmeras side into the semi finals and finishing in the top 3 in the league, great end to the season.
Mil Palmeras 9 v 6 Pilar De La Horadada.
The futures bright.
Spain Federacion. Team Sponsor, Coys Rent A Car.
Connor Hirst grabbed his first goal of many for the Alevin Federacion to help secure the win for Mil Palmeras, Charlie Hawes also grabbed another hatrick to continue his improvement here at Mil Palmeras.
Whilst the spanish teams enjoy the pickings it was the future of this predominantly British side that lead the way to grab the points. Lewis Long & Sam Halliday were singled out for special praise, with Sam who has also enjoyed a great season and is currently promoted to Infantils and playing above his age. Chappers grabbed a brace, but this was really about the youngsters showing there worth in a great contest, with many playing above there age, also Bradley made a late show and scored to round off the win, well done allround. Match goals report Mike Haynes.
Mil Palmeras 6 v 7 San Miguel. Great team work
Semi Final 2nd Leg. Team Sponsor CMR Group SL.
Mil Palmeras went into a 2-0 lead early on and goals from ex San Miguel player Almantas Sukis. This was always a tough encounter but an exciting end to a tough season.
Lucy Daly is singled out for special praise again, and Travis Preston had his goalscring boots on today. Bradley Martin scored from a lovely cross from defender Paige Pickford. Long serving Nathan Done and Karim Ferouli deserved more from this game with there hard work.
San Miguel started to get back into the game late on with late freekicks, but we cannot ask for any more from our Mil Palmeras players well done.
Mil Palmeras 2 v 2 La Aparecida. Title Chasers pegged back.
Team Sponsor TJ Interiors.
This result showed this teams improvement and if this form had been there from the start, we are confident they would be challenging for honours. La Aparecida were like a team of giants, and went into an early lead, 1-0 at half time. The away side doubled there lead to make it 2-0 but Mathi Londoz continued his improved form and Luca Webb played well on the right.
Bailey Tomlinson was nearly on the score sheet following a lovely cross from Ben Naylor. Ruben Breeze played well and Mil Palmeras showed great spirit with two late goals to grab a point against title chasing La Aparecida.
Pilar De La Horadada 6 v 2 Mil Palmeras.
Another busy week for Mil palmeras see this Alevin side play a friendly match against Pilar with another chance to prepare for the new season. Horadada are always good at passing the ball and this was just too good for Mil Palmeras in this evening Kick Off match.
Debutant Harvey played well and looked strong, Connor Hirst set up Bradley for one of the goals from a corner, and Sam Halliday played a through ball for Bradley.
